IESO Energy Storage Facility

Energy Storage Facility

BESS Due Diligence | Toronto Ontario | 12 MWh Energy Storage Facility

The Toronto Hydro Energy Storage Facility is a 4MWh battery energy storage system.

The Energy Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) was designed for smart grid applications. Its aim is to optimize energy balance demand in smart grids to reduce or defer the overall costs of grid investment and power dispatch.

These projects included 4MW Leclanché lithium-ion batteries, WS Tech power conversion systems. It also included the Greensmith Energy Management System (GEMS).

In addition, Phoventus reviewed technical proposals from EPC bidders. Of course, it provided feedback on the quality and completeness of each bid from design and engineering standpoints.
